Reading Auras

"When you learn about the aura, you can begin to see and appreciate the profound and unique splendor of your own energy". - Guy Coggins, inventor of the Aura Camera 6000 and Video Aura Interactive technology.

Every color has its unique qualities and purposes. Imagine a color wheel. Each color is a location on the wheel. No color is better than another. Each has its inherent lessons, its positive and challenging traits.

The right side, picture left of the aura photo: Indicates one's expressive active or masculine side, the personality one projects outward and how other people see us. The color in this position is indicative of the persona or how we project ourselves to others. This part of the picture also represents the recent past. If there is no color in this position or a hole, so to speak, this may indicate a loss of some sort, or a wish to let go of the past, perhaps a recent move, or a profound personal transformation. A hole may indicate a great and abrupt change of some sort.

The left side, picture right, of the aura photo: Indicates one's feminine, receptive or feeling side, the part of the personality that receives, feels, accepts, and imagines. The color in this position is also indicative of what one is creating for him/herself in the near future. If there is an abundance of color here, the person may be focusing most of their attention in the future. If there is a lack of color here, the person may be dwelling on past memories and events.

The center of the aura photo, above the person's head:
Indicates what the person is experiencing in the present moment. If there is a band of color stretching like an arc over the top of the photo, this indicates what the person's hopes, goals and aspirations are. For example: an indigo or blue arc may indicate the person's highest aspirations to be spiritual or artistic. A red arc would indicate more monetary or business goals.

Auras that expand out: indicate spiritual expansion, expressiveness, extroversion, social activity, and desire for connection, gregariousness, and positive outlook, sense of adventure.

Auras closer in: indicate inward focus, sensitivity, and desire for solitude, meditation, peace, tranquility, or rest. This could mean a need to express or to move out.

The Throat Center (self expression) The color on the throat is traditionally the energy being expressed. The color in this area is an expression of the throat chakra, the center of communication. If a bright ball of color appears here, you may feel a great need to talk and communicate. You may be opening up to your spirituality and wish to share your profound insights with others. You may feel a rush of artistic inspiration or the need to sing.

The Heart Center (empathy) The color in the heart center expresses the energy in the heart chakra, the center of unconditional love, empathy and compassion. If a bright ball of color appears here you are indeed a humanitarian, and would save the world if you could. You may be a gifted spiritual energy worker, counselor, or teacher. From the heart center we are able to see the good in everyone, and can let love energy flow from our hearts to nurture other beings.

The Solar Plexus Center (self-esteem) The color in the solar plexus represents the center vibration of your being. The Solar Plexus is associated with power and wealth, and is called the money pot by the Hindus. This is the center of self-esteem and ego. If there is a big ball of bright color here you are probably learning about your own sense of personal power.

The Second Center (creativity) This energy center of the body is about creativity, sociability, one's emotional life, and sexuality. Sex is a profound source of creativity, joy and pleasure that is nurturing and bonding. Many religions consider sex sinful, which can create a source of guilt, fear and shame. When the energy in this area is balanced, the person will probably have a positive attitude toward basic love. The second chakra center is the position from which one reaches out, expands and relates to others.

The Root Center (Material World) The color of the root area is traditionally the energy of material reality. People with strong energy in this center usually show a red color and have good survival skills. This is also the center of manifestation. If you are trying to succeed in the world either by making more money, establishing a business, or accumulating possessions, you will be focusing your energy here. This is also the place from which passion flows; the source of power and ego development.

All the colors are beautiful. It's important to support people by emphasizing positive things about their aura and aura colors. Many people feel very shy for the first time in getting their aura photo taken, feeling that the picture will reveal something very personal or intimate about them. Be gentle with your clients. For many of them, the aura photo you take of them is their first experience with the concept of the human aura.

You, as a Coggins Aura Camera and WinAura Video System Owner, possess great power in that you have the ability to change peoples' perception about who they think they are, on another level. For many their first aura photo is a profound experience. Perhaps for the first time in their lives they can see a concrete example, a photograph or print showing them that they may be something other than just their body and personality. Seeing their own aura introduces them to the idea that they are also vibrant color, light, spirit, and energy. Just this concept changes many peoples' ideas of the "self" and opens new doors for expanded awareness of their total "being ness". Perhaps without knowing it, you are changing your clients' awareness and their lives more than you'll know, and in doing do you are changing the world, aura photo by aura photo.

Please emphasize the positive!

Always focus on the positive aspects you see and intuit about a client's aura photo, and support people in the highest ideas about themselves. This is the only way you can create and encourage beneficial change.

When dealing with problematic subjects, frame these concepts in terms of the word "balancing" and what your clients can do to achieve greater balance in their lives. Read as many books on the subject of auras as you can: especially Barbara Brennan's Hands of light, and Dr. Luscher's, the Luscher Color Test, and Aura Awareness. We believe these are the best books to read thoroughly. We also recommend Rosalyn Bruyere's book Wheels of Light and Barbara Bower's book What Color Is Your Aura?. You can order these books from our sales office at Aura Imaging (click here for contact information). We also have several Aura DVDs for you, as well as video clips on our YouTube page.

Have fun, every time you go out with your Coggins Camera and WinAura Video System is a new adventure. There are always surprises. Ask questions of the people you encounter and you'll learn things not found in any book. Also, save any unusual aura photos, and record their stories. We will publish these in future newsletters, articles, books, or TV shows. Contact Us if you are interested in sharing your unusual aura photos and aura experiences.
